This vintage Swiss timepiece is branded Marker, a boutique private-label brand from the late 1960s to early 1970s. During this era of Swiss watchmaking, smaller assemblers (known as établisseurs) sourced standardized, high-quality components from Swiss cooperatives to produce striking, design-forward models.

This specific watch is defined by its vibrant, deep green gradient (fumé) dial, which transitions from a bright emerald center to a dark forest green edge. It features bold, highly legible white Arabic numerals, matching white baton hands, and a cushion-style tonneau case. It represents a classic example of Swiss tool-watch design from the transitional space-age era, prioritising durability and stark visual contrast.
