From the late 50s early 60s one of the earliest Certinas DS models ever made (first certina ds automatic), recently serviced by watchmaker..
DS models do not have serial numbers, but the range was launched in 1959 and the technology patented in late 1958. This early watch still has "Swiss patent pending swiss" inside the case back. These early watches never had the turtle embossed caseback either.
Case:
o All in stainless steel polished with marks and scratches all over
o Fine condition with strong geometry
o 36mm without crown / 45mm lug to lug / 14mm tickness / 18mm lug width
o Crown certina signed
Movement:
o Mechanical certina in house automatic cal. 25-45 - serviced by watchmaker on June 2024

Dial:
o This is where I draw your attention, it is a repainted dial and poorly repainted because they put "DS-2" it should be just "DS", it is sold in this condition

o New 18mm borwn racing leather with chromed generic buckle
Condition:
Is one of the currently few overlooked classic watches. Look at the ingredients and you will see why it is deserved of more love. The case is made by Huguenin Frères, and they patented the double shock (hence DS) system for this watch, nice vintage piece in good working condition...
