70s vintage watch mens Certina Town & Country Ref. 5206-115 square gold pl hand wind

This example of the Town & Country has a square-shaped, clamshell-style case. The four screws in the caseback serve as the opening and closing mechanism. The style was used on early waterproof cases, particularly in chronographs, for brands like Gallet, for example, and continued as a solid case construction option for decades.

o   Square shape gold plated with back in stainless steel, ref. 5206-115 and serial 6230917
o   Fine condition with strong geometry
o   30mm without crown / 40mm lug to lug / 8mm thickness / 20mm lug width
o   Original plexiglass 
o   Original crown signed

Movement:
o   Mechanical hand wind in house cal 25-661  -  working well

Dial & Hands:
    o  Untouched 

Bracelet Material: 
  o  New 20mm croco leather in generic golden buckle

A very nice Certina in good condition…
