Candino was founded in 1947 in Herbetswil, Switzerland, by Adolf Flury-Hug and quickly became known for robust, affordable Swiss Made watches. In the late 60s and early 70s, Candino celebrated its Golden Anniversary - 25 years - with a special line of futuristic TV-screen / UFO saucer cases, a design that defined the early 70s. Now part of the Festina Group, Candino still produces Swiss Made watches today. This Precision UFO model is a perfect example of that era: massive saucer-shaped fluted bezel, deep blue degradé dial with huge bubble markers and a reliable Swiss manual-wind movement - offered here as NOS, unworn, with its original tags and strap.

o In working condition - We rarely do service in order to preserve originality as much as possible
o Date can be set between 9 and 12 o'clock by moving hands forward past midnight
DIAL & HANDS:
o Original untouched deep blue degradé / fume dial - lighter center, darker edges - NOS, no repaint
o Applied huge bubble / cannonball luminous markers with chrome surrounds, original baton hands with luminous stripe
o Framed date window at 3 o'clock with magnifier effect from crystal - displays "4"
o Marked "CANDINO - SWISS MADE" - very clean
BRACELET / STRAP:
o Original NOS blue leather strap - never worn - matching the dial perfectly
o Original vintage tags still attached: Red "SWISS MADE - CANDINO PRECISION" tag and orange "Incabloc - Shock-protected" tag - the ultimate proof of NOS
