60s vintage watch mens Girard perregaux Gyromatic tonneau steel serviced

This is a mid-1960s Girard-Perregaux Gyromatic, featuring a rare tonneau stainless steel case design that is exceptionally hard to find. The Gyromatic series introduced the world’s first bidirectional rotor movement, a revolutionary development that laid the foundation for modern automatic watch mechanisms.

o All in stainless steel profissional polished
o Fine condition with strong geometry
o 31mm without crown / 39mm lug to lug / 11mm tickness / 19mm lug width
o Original GP crown
o New generic plexiglass 

Movement:
o Mechanical automatic quickset date - serviced by watchmaker in March 2025
(movement was disassembled, washed, lubricated) 

Dial & Hands:
o  Dial with evident signs/marks of age

Bracelet Material:
o New 19mm black generic chromed buckle
