Founded in 1912 by Walter Vogt in Grenchen, Switzerland, Fortis holds a legendary place in horological history. Renowned for partnering with John Harwood to create the world’s first mass-produced automatic wristwatch in 1926, Fortis later became an absolute pioneer in aviation and space exploration watches.
