From ww2 era this extraordinary MIDO Multifort manual wind cal. 6461, with staggering details, recently serviced by watchmaker.
This 80 year old Swiss Made wrist watch features a unique patinated radium dial full of character and history. This dial tells a story, an original story, while this example is still left in its full original glory.
When that isn’t enough, this Mido Multifort has many subtle and elegant details that allow you to dream away. This Mido is built to last, for many years to come.
Mido introduce the Multifort range in 1935, and it was their best seller until the 1950’s. It was one of the first watches to be waterproof, shockproof and antimagnetic.
Case:
o All in stainless steel, case back is stamped BRIT PAT 3855 509 (taubert pat) serial nº 597399 and between lugs 7399 scracthes all over
o Fine condition with strong geometry
o 28.5m without crown / 35mm lug to lug / 9,5mm tickness / 16mm lug width
o Glass yellowish with characteristic aging, some scratches
Movement:
o Mechanical Manual wind Mido cal. 6461 - Serviced by watchmaker in September 2020

Dial:
o Untouched black with red scale and radium numbers, hands missing lume
Bracelet Material:
o New 16mm nato military green
